Salesforce Revenue Cloud Disruption Blocks Product Additions and Quote Saves
Salesforce disclosed a Revenue Cloud service disruption on Monday, September 7, 2026, that is preventing some customers from adding products, editing quote line items, and saving quotes. The incident affects 16 listed instances and can also block checkout when the constraint feature is enabled. (status.salesforce.com)
Salesforce Revenue Cloud incident affects quote and checkout workflows
The issue began at 10:30 p.m. UTC on September 6 and was still ongoing on September 7. Salesforce said affected customers can view existing quotes and create new quotes, but cannot add or edit products on new or existing quotes when the constraint feature is active.
The disruption affects AP52, AP53, AP54, AP58, AP60, ARE4S, ARE6, ARE12, AUS4S, AUS6, AUS16S, AUS28S, AUS58, AUS60, AUS62, and AUS64. GovCloud instances were removed from the affected scope after Salesforce confirmed they were not impacted. The Salesforce Trust incident record identifies a recent release as the likely trigger. The incident is not a platform-wide outage. It is limited to specific Revenue Cloud environments and configurations, which makes the impact more targeted but potentially significant for organizations using Salesforce to configure products, prepare quotes, or support checkout operations. In practice, affected sales teams may be able to open quotes but still be unable to complete the product configuration steps needed to move an order forward.
Salesforce tests a fix for the Revenue Cloud constraint issue
Salesforce said it reproduced the problem and identified a specific release change as the likely cause. Engineering teams are testing a rollback and preparing additional fixes for a broader set of affected versions. The company also said the current release is not impacted, while the earlier affected release remains under remediation. (status.salesforce.com)
The temporary workaround is to disable the constraint feature, although Salesforce warned that this may not work for every configuration. That limitation matters because disabling the feature could change how product rules or validation logic operate inside a customer’s quoting process.
An independent IsDown Salesforce status monitor also listed an active Salesforce feature disruption on September 7, confirming that customers were experiencing a live service issue while Salesforce continued testing its fix. (isdown.app)
The immediate implication is operational rather than financial: Revenue Cloud customers on the affected instances may need to pause or reroute quote work until the fix reaches their environment. Salesforce had not posted a final resolution time in its latest update, and the incident remained open while validation continued.
